Ooh Baby, Baby (plants)
Warmer weather means it’s time to get some plants in the ground! I thought I’d give you a shot of my little indoor seedling operation at this point. These are the early more cold-hardy transplants - I’m just about to start the warm season crops next week.

Aren’t the little plants cute? Just like human babies, they entail a lot of work. I’m on a non-stop cycle of planting seeds in cell trays, watering the seedlings growing under lights or in the hoophouse, hardening them off to live outside, and transplanting. I’m growing about a hundred different plantings of vegetables and flowers this year in my 1/4 acre, which is too much to keep track of in my head. I made a spreadsheet to organize the planting; here’s a little snippet of it to give you a sense:
Pretty soon, I’ll be able to show you some plants growing out in the garden! Looking forward to that.
Take care,
Susan
